Who is Sunita Williams?
Sunita Williams (born September 19, 1965 in Euclid, Ohio) is the second woman of Indian origin to go to space through the US space agency NASA. She hails from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She has set a world record of staying in space for 127 days as a female astronaut. Her father Deepak Pandey is a doctor in America. She was Selected in US Space Agency ‘NASA'(1998) Her role in various missions has been glorified by all. She was the part of mission STS 116, Expedition 14, Expedition 15, STS 117, Soyuz TMA-05M, Expedition 32, Expedition 33, and successfully achieved them. Sunita Lyn Williams is an American astronaut, United States Navy officer, and former record holder for most spacewalks by a woman (seven) and most spacewalk time for a woman (50 hours, 40 minutes).
